Where we are

From our first ten teachers, to a global community

Seven years of building, listening, refining — reimagining assessments to see children beyond grades.

HoloTracker schools gathering with Andreas Schleicher
From pilot to scale

"A powerful tool to nurture and motivate students in forming sound values and good habits"

Our first pilot school started with ten teachers in 2019. Through cluster sharings, schools started seeing what it looked like in real classrooms. They asked to join. Six years later, HoloTracker is widely deployed in Singapore and globally — and Singapore's National Institute of Education has rolled it out to train all pre-service teachers.

HoloTracker has also been featured in Singapore's MOE Teachers' Conference and ExCEL Fest, and international platforms such as OECD Education forums, and leading conferences in Finland, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Brazil and the USA.

"With HoloTracker, we can see each child's efforts and strengths"

In Vinnytsia Primary School 25, children children continue to learn amidst a war. Yet, or precisely because of this, teachers make social and emotional development their first priority. Seeing the whole child isn't a nice-to-have. It's fundamental to learning.

Today, HoloTracker is being presented as part of Ukraine's national discussions on education reform.

The challenge

Seeing children beyond grades and prioritising skills and character growth is hard work.

Schools want to:

  • Capture student qualities in an all-rounded manner
  • Communicate growth of every student effectively and equitably
  • Make data-driven decisions and empower teaching/learning agency

But:

  • Doing so consistently is arduous and time-consuming
  • It's hard to recall the right information at the right time
  • Transitioning into new teaching practices can feel unfamiliar
How it works

Feedback built into the flow of learning, not on top of it.

Capture positive displays of growth while it's happening. The same friendly interface for everyone, whether by educators, self or peers. No more onerous checklists.

From your teachers: Lucas, this term we've watched you become someone who shows up for the people around you. We saw it when you slid your finger under the line so Marcus could keep his place during silent reading, and again when the science experiment went wrong and you said straight away that the doubled reagent was you, before anyone else could be blamed. Both moments needed you to step in before it was easy. Well done — and keep going.
Outcomes & evidence

What changes — and the research that backs it.

Reimagining assessment to nurture each child's sense of self, purpose and possibility.

Students For learners
"Strong teacher–student relationships and student agency are foundational to wellbeing and long-term life outcomes." OECD, Future of Education and Skills 2030
"Children praised for the process they engaged in — their effort, strategies and persistence — became eager for challenges, more resilient, and more confident in their ability to grow." Carol Dweck, on process praise & growth mindset

Recognised and valued for who they're becoming

In HoloTracker schools, learners come to articulate their own strengths, name what they're working on, and strengthen self-belief alongside trusted adults — they are affirmed for their process of becoming, not just their outcomes.

Parents For families
"The everyday conversations parents have with children at home — about effort, expectations and what they're learning — shape how children see themselves as learners." Synthesis from family-engagement research (Henderson & Mapp; Harvard Family Research Project)
"When parents and teachers share an honest, evidence-rich picture of a child, family conversations move from grades and anxiety to growth and possibility." Joyce L.E., School, Family & Community Partnerships

Deeper, more grounded conversations at home

HoloTracker gives families what they actually need to nurture their child: clarity on where they have grown, what is stretching them now, and where a little encouragement would matter most. Less guesswork, more closeness.

Teachers For educators
"Feedback is among the most powerful influences on achievement — but only when it tells the learner where they are, where they need to go, and how to get there." John Hattie, Visible Learning
"Good teachers possess a capacity for connectedness. They weave connections among themselves, their subject and their students so students learn to weave a world for themselves." Parker J. Palmer, The Courage to Teach

From admin sprints to deep stewardship

Teachers shift from end-of-term writing marathons to becoming facilitators and coaches who know each learner deeply. Singapore teachers report 4 hrs/wk on admin — among the OECD's highest (TALIS 2024). HoloTracker reclaims a meaningful slice of that, week by week.

For schools

A reliable, low-friction rollout.

From onboarding to insight in six weeks — designed to fit alongside (not on top of) your existing workload.

1 First six weeks

Set up & start observing

  • Onboarding template (~30 min)
  • Teachers' intro workshop (25–60 min)
  • Back-end setup (<½ day)
  • Roll-out to teachers & students
  • Typically ~6,000 observations in 6 weeks
2 First sharing

Make growth visible

  • Plan first sharing (PTC, student reflections)
  • Live school dashboard
  • Data & pedagogy review with our team
  • First student growth reports
3 Scaling up

Embed into school rhythm

  • Yearly onboarding for new cohorts
  • Ongoing review & support
  • Workshops + global cross-learning sessions
  • Evolve your implementation using the SAMR-model

70% less time spent on feedback admin

when using HoloTracker, compared to the typical workload of surveys, evaluation meetings, and report writing.

HoloTracker is a great platform to help teachers reflect on what is happening in the classroom and bring that information together in a coherent way. It helps teachers understand classroom behaviours in each moment, to improve student learning and also teaching.

Primary · Character development

West Spring Primary's VITAL programme

Values Identified Through the Actions of Learners — teachers regularly record positive behaviours, then share them with students and parents through reflective journals and family affirmation exercises.

Whole school Building a routine of observation and affirmation every day

Secondary · Student voice in 21CC

Dunman Secondary's STEMviaDT

Students make daily affirmations of their own and peers' learning, augmented by teacher mentors. The result: students who can name what they're learning — and step up for peers going unnoticed.

Time savings Feedback consolidation across teachers has become seamless

SPED · Dignity & growth

CPAS School's culture of recognition

For students with special needs, the smallest moments matter most. CPAS uses HoloTracker to celebrate participation in mobility exercises, confident greetings, peer kindness — building affirmative reports that tell each student's full story.

Trust, data & AI

Serious about data. Serious about AI safety.

Schools and systems are right to ask hard questions about edtech in 2026. We want to honour that — here is the short, plain truth about how we hold your data.

Data ownership

The school owns its data. We are the processor, not the owner. You can export the full record at any time as CSV, and request full deletion from your end at any time.

Where data lives

Hosted on cloud servers through AWS, with regional data residency in Singapore by default. EU, US or local residencies in the pipeline.

What AI does — and doesn't do

Does: drafts student-report paragraphs from observation evidence you've already collected, with full source-traceability.
Doesn't: train on your data. Generate observations that didn't happen. Replace teacher judgement.

Compliance

Aligned with Singapore PDPA, EU GDPR (where applicable), and US student-data norms. Annual third-party security review. ISO Cyber Essentials Mark certified.

Long-term continuity

Standard subscriptions guarantee schools' continued access to their full data archive — anytime, in machine-readable format. Your records of growth belong to you, always.

Built for children

Observations contain positive qualitative observations, not biometrics or behavioural-risk scoring. We never use observation data for any form of profiling beyond the school's pedagogical intent.

Need more detail? See our data protection notice.

The team behind HoloTracker

Building an education that is warm and connected.

We started in 2019 with a simple question that wouldn't go away: why do schools work so hard at character and skills, and have so little to show for it at the end?

The answer wasn't a missing framework — schools have plenty of those. It was a missing connective tissue: a way to capture the small daily moments that show what a child is becoming, without drowning teachers in admin. HoloTracker is what we built. Seven years on, we're a small team based in Singapore, working closely with schools, NIE and the OECD.
